My husband and I had a wonderful month long stay, along with our aging, but still agile cat. The two bedroom condo had plenty of room and comfortable furniture, with relaxing outdoor space. The master bedroom was very roomy, yet cozy, with a fireplace to warm us during the unexpected 9 inches of snow that fell mid-vacation. (The king sized mattress will need to be replaced sometime in the near future, but the owners have been informed, and may have already taken care of it.) We were told by family who visited us that the queen sized bed in the smaller bedroom was quite comfortable and firm. The kitchen was very well equipped with just about any kind of pot and pan your heart desired, and of high quality. If you love to cook, this is a great kitchen for it. (There were a few items, such as kitchen towels, oven mitts, and cooling racks that were not provided, so we spent a little money at the Dollar Store. We were offered reimbursement from the property management company, but declined their offer.)
My husband and I prefer to walk everywhere and the location couldn't have been better - just a few blocks from the plaza, museums, and excellent restaurants. The Fairmont Heritage Place staff in the clubhouse were very friendly and accommodating, particularly Bryan and Candace. We also enjoyed working with the property management company, Adobe Destinations. We hope to make this an annual trip and look forward to staying here again.
Just a word of caution: The downstairs floor is dark slate tiles and due to the lighting locations in the living room, the tiles on the two steps leading into the living room visually blend together, making it look like one step down. It took us a few days to get used to this.
We were here 9/29-10/3 2016 and rented unit 67. This is a high end luxury property. We were most impressed with the location and the great over all appearance. We have rented condos all over the US and this is right at the top of the list of great and grand places. Clean, very well appointed and the furnishings are top drawer. The kitchen is amazing. We had a front patio area that is behind a privacy fence, and the back has a covered patio area and private also. The bedroom are on the second floor and are large and finely done.
It is an easy walk to the shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed the walk and took a different route each day. The property is gated and in the evening you must enter thru a secure entry. The property management people are nice and very friendly. Finding the rental office is a bit of a chore as it is off the street. You can have access to under ground parking if you so wish. We paid a bit extra to stay at El Corazon and we do not regret it in the least. Only one minus, the bedrooms are on the second floor. If you have issues with steps might not be right for you. One bedroom has a fire place and small deck as does the large living room. This place is top drawer and made for a very enjoyable stay for the 2 of us.
Very clean, very quiet, close to all the action with a short walk, secured at night. We would come back with no hesitation, worth every dollar we paid to stay here.
