We had a good stay. The people here are knowledgeable and very helpful. I would however recommend a third floor room since we were on the second floor and the noise above us was constant for 7 days.Very comfortable bed and room a little dated but we had all we needed.

The room is very spacious with all of the amenities. It is more like a small apartment. Very impressed with the cleanliness and overall appearance of the property. All of the shops and restaurants are within walking distance to the villa.

This is a Diamond "Resort" in Santa Fe. It is not really a resort in the usual sense but is more like a motel with some additions like a small kitchen. This is a two building property with 3 stories, some of the upper floors with balconies. It is conveniently located in NW Santa Fe within reasonable walking distance of a large mall and the downtown attractions. There is a pool and a modest exercise room. A free laundry area is present in the main building. Parking is available and each building has an elevator. The kitchen was very small and L shaped and the dishwasher was located in the corner of the L thereby when open blocked access to the cabinets in both arms of the L. There was no oven just a cook-top. The hot water tap turned 360 degrees but did turn the water off at 180. The plates, glasses, etc included 4 of each thereby limiting availability. The bedroom and living area were adequate as were the TV and Internet.

Room Tip: Not sure that there are any "best" rooms.

Hotel is very nice and has all the amenities. Room has a kitchenette which was very convenient. There is no housekeeping at all, but you can request clean towels if you want. Hotel is walking distance to the center of town, but you can also request a free shuttle drive. The staff was very nice and helpful.
We would stay there again.

We took the reliable Roadrunner Lamy shuttle from the train to the hotel on Saturday. There are several buildings on the Villas de Santa Fe property. Ours was on Griffen St, and seemed fairly quiet over the weekend. We crashed on the bed - so comfortable. Our suite had a full kitchenette and living room, with separate bedroom. Bathroom was accessible through the bedroom. Toilet and shower were in a large room (was this for wheelchair access?), while the sink and mirror were on the end of the bedroom. Fan and light for the bathroom were the same switch. Shower head was above my head, and I'm 5'11", so grateful that I don't have to bend over to rinse my hair. We enjoyed the comfort of the rooms, amenities, and sitting out on the small porch for an afternoon snack. Nice bath amenities. Dining room chairs were shorter wrt table. Hotel lobby has complimentary coffee and teas. Hamburger place in Albertson's shopping center just a few minutes away was packed - had good burgers. Hotel shuttle picked me up from grocery store fairly quickly. Two things I learned about Santa Fe: 1. Car rentals close before the train arrives on Saturday, so I had to pick one up Sunday morning. 2. Flights generally go through Albuquerque, not Santa Fe. Santa Fe is a jewel of a town.
