My wife and I bought a new Class A RV and looked for a campground within a few hours of our home to make our first trip just to see how everything operated before going on any extended trip. We chose the Luray KOA as it was near relatives and we could visit while there. We arrived on Wednesday and was given our map to the campsite and was pleasantly surprised at the location and surroundings. The hookups were easy, there was a table and four chairs provided, plus a nice size patio with two Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. A large grass area in the center with a playground for kids and all around nothing but farmland. There are no cable or TV hookups but we were able to receive 13 clear over the air channels. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute. Wifi although weak was usable but if you had a lot of browsing to do you would probably do better with some kind of hotspot. We look forward to visiting again.
