We arrived early and met the owner. She was really nice and helped us hook up the Wi-Fi on our iPads. The cabin has nearly everything you would need including dishes, pots and pans as well as things like detergent and linens to make it a fully stocked kitchen. There is a full-size refrigerator and freezer, a full-size stove and microwave, and dishwasher plus a coffee maker. The upstairs had a double bed and a beautiful bathroom with a two-person Jacuzzi. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi very much! You could see the mountains from the upstairs bathroom. However, we decided to sleep downstairs in the queen size bedroom for a more comfortable experience. The living room was spacious. The television is small, however it does have DirecTV and a DVD player. We had so much to do, we never even turned it on! We enjoyed the fire pit outside. The owner supplied plenty of wood and also charcoal for the charcoal grill. We were only a mile out of town making it very convenient, but once we were at the cabin we felt we were very much in the country! We took a picture of the sun setting from the front door. It was spectacular! The swing on the front porch with very comfortable. The cabin had a washer and dryer along with detergent, colored bleach and fabric softener. As a matter of fact, the only thing the cabin didn't have was a hair dryer. At least I didn't find one. You could probably come with only your clothes and medicine - if you needed any - and food. There is a Walmart, gas stations, and restaurants within two or three miles. Luray itself is very unique and has a walking path by a creek with painted murals on many buildings that we enjoyed. There is a pair of goats next-door that enjoy watching you while you sit outside in the backyard but you can take comfort in the fact that there is a fence between them and you. There is also a picnic table in the backyard. The price for the cabin was very reasonable for weekdays. The tax was included and there was no cleaning fee nor security deposit. In exchange, you were expected to leave the cabin in the condition you found it. The cabin was very clean. We did not have to wash the sheets or towels. We did have to put the sheets on the bed the first day we came and strip the bed the day we left and place them on the washer. This seemed like a very fair exchange.
