What a find in Springfield Massachusetts. This is a great place to get your southern cajun fix. Very easy going resturant, everyone knows everyone, great atmosphere, great service. Started wirh crab cakes with a spicy sauce, excellent. Jambalaya was unbelievable, sausage, shrimp, rice all had great flavor. Dessert to top off great dinner. Now I know why they have "best of" recognitions all over the walls.

So.. This place is very much a whole on the wall.... Food is great though! Ordered the crab cake appetizer, gumbo and a salad. This place is a great find!

This place is the real deal. Food is great, serving staff is engaging and the fact you BYOB saves you a bunch of money. One of or favorite places to eat.

What an awesome find! A bit of Nawlins flavor right here in Springfield. The red beans and rice was cooked to perfection, the crab cakes were so yummy and don’t skip dessert! With large portions you might have to take some home! It’s a small place but definitely worth any wait you might have.

This small but busy restaurant is located directly across the street from the Spfld. Post Office! It is tucked away in a small store front but “packed all the time” with delicious, mouth watering food that will keep you coming back for more! The owner is the Chef( unbelievable cooking skills)! Chef Wayne is friendly and adapte at putting out cuisine that is impeccably fresh and loaded with flavor! Their blackened red snapper is my favorite and their Jambalaya and authentic gumbo is beyond compare! It is so good that I “dream of all three!” Ha! Their “dirty rice” is excellent too! My mother ordered their “meatloaf one time” and it was to spicy for her( Chef Wayne is so accommodating, suggesting another “milder flavored entree but I tried it and found it perfect!” It is important to note some of the dishes are spicy but that is my husband’s favorite! His menu has all varieties and he can make things( not the meatloaf) mild, very easily but I have found anything that you order here is a feast for the taste buds! If you have never been here then you are missing an exciting dining experience! The restaurant itself has a “cool little New Orleans vibe to it, too!” Fun experience, something different but more importantly “DELICIOUS!”
