This place is spectacular. Many different ruins you can explore and there all amazing. Some great little walks, and not annoying overcrowded like some other places in the area. Well worth spending about a half day in the park.

Amazing how people settled in this area and how they used the natural lay of the land to their advantage. Amazing how the native people were yet again displaced off of their land.

Have been here a few times but always enjoyable. Not a bad drive from Fladstaff and you also pass through Sunset Crater Volcano Natl Monument.

We took the scenic loop through both Sunset Volcanic and Wupatki National Monuments. The visitor station at Wupatki was super helpful - and loans out a laminated booklet to help you understand the ruins. Forest Service Ranger Robert W. went out his way to make us feel welcome - and gave us great information about the other ruined pueblos in the park. We decided to drive a couple of minutes back toward Sunset Volcanic park to visit the Wukoki pueblo. It is the tallest of the pueblos and stunningly beautiful. Turns out my husband and I had the pueblo entirely to ourselves for about 30 minutes. An a solute “must see” when in the Flagstaff area
Highly, highly recommend.

This is by far my favorite ruin in the four corners area! It’s built so beautifully of red stone. The view from inside the house must have been a real power spot! You can see the San Francisco peaks perfectly. Very easy to get to with any car or bike. To get to the area go into sunset crater park and drive west.
