Description: Coppa is a European-style cafe/bistro set amidst the mountains of Flagstaff serving lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. While northern Arizona might at first seem an unlikely dining destination for serious epicureans, Coppa Cafe's combination of talent and unconventional procurement methods have set the small, casual eatery atop the "can't miss" list of every discerning foodie from Phoenix to Santa Fe. Choosing to go against the grain of the franchise and chain restaurants often found in smaller-town America, husband and wife owners and chefs Brian Konefal and Paola Fioravanti instead favor house-cured meats, ingredients locally procured from nearby farms and ranches and foraged foods found in the forests around Flagstaff to incorporate into their dishes. Though their procurement methods might seem unconventional for the region, their talents are rooted in tradition, following lifelong culinary careers spent crisscrossing Europe and the U.S., Training under the tutelage of some of the finest and most decorated chefs in their respective countries. As Coppa's tagline states, the tiny, intimate venue offers "a taste of Europe in the mountains of Flagstaff," and the culinary team prides itself on providing just that through balancing local finds with progressive techniques, resulting in an unprecedented, sophisticated and pilgrimage-worthy experience.

From the beet soup and salad, to entrees of Cod Piperade and Arizona Grass Fed Steak Frites, and even the pine mousse and cactus butter with the baguettes....absolutely everything was totally delicious! From the quaint ambience of the dining area including the choice of music, to the leisurely pacing of each course, all contributed to an enjoyable evening!

Food service and even the low key ambiance. Relax and enjoy the food. Dress how you want but enjoy the finer things. Great job Coppa, we will be certain to visit again

The food was outstanding. But the service was not up to the same standards. And, beware. Regardless of the quality of service, the restaurant adds a 20% gratuity charge to every bill.

Where in Northern Arizona can you find an amazing French cafe, nestled in a strip mall? Well the resounding answer is Coppa Cafe.

This place is hands down the best breakfast we have had in Flagstaff. With everything made fresh. The gravlaxp were great. The gratin was fluffy and decadent.

The coffee was some of the best Flagstaff has to offer. I know that’s saying a lot. But it’s true...you just have to try it.

The wait staff was friendly and helpful. He pointed out a few dishes which he liked.

The layout, small tables, and light acoustic guitar music made this place a gem.
