Okay, I think I figured out how they get these great ratings. Tour Buses. hundreds of tour buses. The staff is wonderful, the room is huge, but you are stuck in the seventies. And from what I have learned from the staff, they never change the decor. All and all it was okay, the staff was wonderful, but would I go back again I do not know.

Little America was a pleasant surprise. Large room with couch & setting area. Only downside, room key was a bit tricky. When we stayed in December trees in parking lot lit up in various colors which made for a magical atmosphere surrounded by snow. The hotel was also decorated for the holiday. Breakfast was not included in rate, but has restaurant on site & several restaurants nearby. Comfortable lobby area. Clean room with large double sink bathroom. Decor was a bit dated, but felt comfy and spacious. Small wooded area lends the feel of seclusion and makes for a nice area to catch a breath of fresh air. Found nearby downtown Flagstaff to be historical and fun.

We stayed for one night at this hotel in November 2011 and wished we had booked for more nights, what a suprise the room was gorgeous, very well furnished, immaculately clean and the bathroom was very impressive.

A really lovely hotel to stop at for visiting Grand Canyon, Sedona etc well worth staying here.

The Hotel reception was very welcoming with a large fireplace and lovely fire burning and the staff were very helpful and friendly

Stayed here only one night on a stopover on my way from Los Angeles to Santa Fe, but could see this as a good base for day trips to the Grand Canyon or even Sedona. With huge, well appointed rooms in lodges scattered throughout a wooded property the hotel feels deceptively secluded and intimate, although, in fact, it's just off the interstate and is quite a large operation. If I have one complaint, it would be that they could step up the quality of the restaurant, but that's a minor quibble. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to spend a night, or more, in Flagstaff or the Grand Canyon area.

We stayed at Little America in late April/early May for two nights. While the decor was a little dated (mid 70's) the facility was very clean and well kept. Our room with a king bed was spacious and overlooked the wooded area where there is a hiking trail. There was a big screen tv; an extra mirror/sink out side the bathroom (makeup table); mini-fridge in the bathroom; coffee maker (with quality coffee). The staff was extremely nice and polite: very attentive. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced; I recommend the breakfast buffet which had a selection of eggs, bacon/sausage, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, oatmeal, cereals, and a selection of fruits and juices. The one dinner we ate there was also good, with fresh greens for the salad instead of iceberg. We would certainly return to this resort, and will stay at other properties if we happen across them.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that overlooks the wooded area. Quieter. The rooms on the other side face the interstate.
