The family reunion was held here. It turned out to be a nice spot for such an event. Great pool and "back yard." Price very good at $125 per night.

Right of Hwy 40 a.k.a. Route 66 is a spacious and very clean hotel in Flagstaff called Little America. The decor is retro but was very impressed in how clean the rooms and property was kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was large and heated along with a hot tub. The restaurant had good food and service and recommend the cod fish and chips. The hotel also has a two mile trail and is located conveniently to get to nearby parks by car. The rooms are huge with large bathrooms and nice sliding door that opens to the fresh air and landscaping trees and plants. Very nice accommodations.

Clean room. Everything including 4" square pink tiles on bathroom floor, plumbing fixtures, very 1950s or 1960s. Could not google up when the place was built, but it's OLD (but again meticulously maintained. We walk in the door of the building with the rooms, hauling all of our suitcases etc., and there are 3 hallways. No plaque to show us which hall to take. She goes left, I go straight ahead, no dice. We go right. There it was. Told the front desk, she made notes. Front desk lady was high class, very bright. Probably student from No AZ Univ nearby. Also the TV sucked. I hit lower volume and it transferred me to pay channel menu. Darn! TV refused to change channels in response to number buttons. I had to beg and cry to get it to move up or down channels with the up/down button. Beds great. Room, again, very very clean. Nice place with walk path in woods. Finally breakfast horribly expensive, so I suggest DOWNTOWN DINER in the more than charming old town. Train station (Amtrak) also has visitor center and shop, but constant presence of drunks and bums is a negative.

We stayed one night on our way to the canyon. While the room's fixtures (lights, bath fixtures) were a bit dated, they were very well maintained and clean - kind of like stepping back in time to the late 80's.

They had a great pool with pool side service, so we were able to enjoy a beer while swimming. Also, there was a playground for the kids, so they were able to run around after a long car ride there.

Breakfast the next morning was delicious. I never eat biscuits and gravy, but it looked great, and oh was I right! The buffet was a good value for our family.

Stayed one night at the Little America whilst stopping between the Grand Canyon and Phoenix. The Little America was one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in and absolutely lived up to my expectations. The room and bathroom were fantastically decorated and felt like I was staying in 5* luxury. All this at a great price through Priceline. The location perhaps isn't the best if you don't have a car, however the free shuttle service was a great addition and they were even able to take me to the train station for my very early pick up for the Grand Canyon. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay there again if ever in Flagstaff!
