We fondly call this restaurant "the Beanery" because of their delicious bean soup! We've been going to this traditional west side Italian restaurant for years! A "go to" place for a quick bite before a BPO concert or other downtown festivities. We always leave with leftovers because the portions are huge. FYI: There is no coffee or tea served, only water, wine, or beer!!! 1950s style tables are covered with maroon vinyl tablecloths...no cloth here!!! An authentic mix of locals and those "in the know"! It's fun to sit in the front room and watch the chefs cook spaghetti, sauce and soups in giant steaming pots. Very reasonable prices, great service, and lots of food (bread included too last time we went). Parking: A dirt/partially paved lot is next to the bldg, but you might find spaces across the street after their business hours. This restaurant gets the job done...no frills here! Enjoy the experience!!!
