My husband and I had a lovely brunch and when the rain compelled us to change our plans, Rafaela Radcke and the front desk staff were so helpful and assisted us in procuring tickets for a great mansion tour.

Yet another amazing meal from Forty One North! Chef Feury delivered a great mix of local seafood and house specialties to build a dinner worth remembering.

Particular stand outs were the chilled sliced sea scallop served over ice and barely touched by salt and lemon and the house dry aged veal chop served with mushrooms and a reduction. Also worth mentioning was the homemade spaghetti topped with shrimp and an uni butter sauce - a nice mix of richness and umami flavors.

While busy, the service always manages to balance attention with discretion. And the people watching cannot be beat!

We can't wait to go back.

Beautiful property and location. Staff and Management do an exceptional job at taking care of everything! Food and hospitality just over the top !
Highly recommend for any occasion in Newport.
Request a waterview room if possible, sunsets are
a nice way to end the day !

Don't stay in the lofts! I've stayed in the main hotel before. It is wonderful. On my last visit we thought it would be fun to try the lofts - two rooms in another building. It was horrible. The entrance is up some stairs and through an empty undecorated banquet hall. Then up more stairs to a "loft" that is actually an add-on apartment. And a bad one at that. The windows with the "water view" are small and dirty. The "bedroom" is more like a closet with a bed (watch your head as the ceiling slopes dramatically), and the bathroom is small and more like what you'd expect in a crappy apartment or budget motel.

I am surprised that 41N would market these rooms at all. Online the pictures look great but they are awful. Everything else about the hotel is so nice. The people, restaurant, location - just don't stay in the lofts!

In Newport last week for business . Stopped by this location for a drink . First off it’s a great location and at first we were excited to see such a beautiful setting . That was the beginning of the end . Bar tenders and wait staff are so rude and pretentious, act as if their yacht is in the harbor . Drinks are outrageously priced and staff was snobby. 1 drink and we left -won’t go back
