I love green tea everything - mochi, tea (hot or cold) ice cream - everything. I was perusing through this little mall and came across this place to get some green tea. It was delightful and just what I needed since I was dying of thirst. I didn't have enough time to discover some of the other treats they had like their ice creams, but I am going back to Honolulu next year and will definitely come here again to try their ice cream!

Came across this awesome desert spot when we were looking for restaurants near the Waikiki shopping area. Plenty of Japanese restaurants at the lower level and this is one of them but for Matcha related items. I wish I had taken photos to share but if you like Matcha, do come check it out. I just checked and it is an authentic Japanese firm that has several locations in Japan but it did not list the Hawaii location for some reason.

We've missed having somewhere different to eat and hang out in Waikiki. As locals, it has for the most part become out of our price range and the food selections more for the tourists than those who live here. The new International Marketplace is lacking so it was great to find Yokocho! Though not complete, it seems to have the possibilities of being a good place to find food that matches local taste. Our first place was Nana's Green tea. Great service and definitely macha flavor in the tea and ice cream. Nice place to sit and chat. A bit pricier than the old choices in that area (like Taco Bell) but I applaud the efforts to bring food back to that area. Looking forward to more stops here.
