3 blocks off of the beach but walking distance to shops, food, etc. Rooms and lobby recently updated flat screen TV's and modern bathrooms. Super friendly staff. Valet parking only. $22 pancakes for breakfast !!!

Room Tip: Upgraded to ocean view for being Hilton Gold member

One of my insurance companies gave me and 400 others this trip for sales goals met.

Overall it is a great hotel, probably better than most Hiltons in the continental US.

Great bay and beach. Take the submarine tour.
Really got me in to sushi, as one night they had a huge spread.

Decent pool, not great like the hyatt on maui. To me it's more a of business type hotel on the beach, not what I call a true resort hotel.

Room Tip: Get one facing the bay

Rather shabby and disappointing, not typical of the Hilton brand that I have come to know and enjoy. A very off-hand welcome during check in; definitely not what I was expecting in Hawaii and a big contrast to the welcome at the airport and at immigration! The room was clean but was nothing special, the balcony had not been cleaned in quite some time. The nightly reception for Hilton Gold members left me feeling decidedly un-special. It is held in the basement, in a room with no atmosphere and food that at best can be described as “plastic”, 5 minutes was enough for us to see and leave. The wait for a latte in the morning was unbelievably long, not sure if this is due to poor training, or little interest in the customers. On the positive side, the staff at the bar were friendly, the view from the balcony over the ocean was excellent, especially at sunset and the overall location is good. It is very walkable to many attractions and close to the beach. We tried to move to the Hilton Hawaiian Village, sadly it was full.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor with a view of the ocean.

Thank you for your review of our hotel. I apologize that our welcome did not convey the “Aloha Spirit” and your room did not meet your expectations. I would like to share with you that based on comments we have received through Trip Advisor, we are now in the process of improving the experience in the Executive Lounge with new menus for both breakfast and evening appetizers, longer hours of operation and enhanced décor. Again, thank you for the review and I hope you had safe travels home. And please allow me to say ALOHA!

This hotel is not beachfront (1 block) but in a great location. Walk able to all the restaurants and shops in Waikiki. Comfortable hotel and nice modern room. Beautiful pool deck with large heated pool, hot tub, tons of lounge chairs and a pool bar. Great home base for exploring other parts of the island.

This Hotel embodies perfection. My wife and I spent 10 days here and were beyond thrilled with the hotel. Some reviewers have said the hotel is 2 blocks to the beach and in reality its more like 1 block, which rocked! We had an ocean view room that was simply breathtaking. I woke up early in the mornings sat on the balcony and watched the sun come up over diamond head with the beach in front. Simply stunning! The rooms themselves are immaculate, very clean, with lamps by the beds that dim (a personal favorite of mine) Seems like a simple thing but it seems a lot of hotels do not have this, it's nice to set a mood :). The bathrooms are elegant, and modern, and the beds are super comfy. The views at night had a very serene feel to them as well. From the balcony we also got a beautiful view of the city which is fairly quiet, and just glows with beauty, and sounds of the ocean waves complete it. Had we not had an ocean view room I could see myself being just as delighted with their city views. Oh and we slept with the slider door open most nights, amazing waking up to the sunrise and ocean waves.

The hotel staff are amazing. I would say out of all the hotels I've stayed in their staff was the friendliest, and the most helpful. They really go the extra mile to make sure you are happy and if there is anything you need they bend over backwards to make it happen. The bartenders make exceptional cocktails, and have great personalities, even the cleaning staff couldn't be sweeter. We ordered room service from their restaurant, MAC 24/7, and the food was EXCEPTIONAL, as well as the staff member who brought it. He even gave me some snorkeling tips for Hanauma bay.

The hotel is in an outstanding location close to everything you could need on your trip. We rented a Jeep for 3 days, and the concierge was very helpful with that, and the valet guys were on point when it came to parking, The pool deck and bar is beautiful, and a fun place for a night swim with the city lights glowing, and stars are shining. The grounds of the hotel are well kept and the tiki torches add a beautiful glow to it, very well done. They even have a room dedicated to some history on Prince Kuhio.

You simply can't go wrong here. I'm planning on returning to Hawaii shortly in the future and I can say without any doubts me and my wife will be staying here ANYTIME we visit. AWESOME experience!

Room Tip: The south side (ocean views) is amazing, the north side faces huge majestic mountains probably stunn...

Thank you very much for topping off your perfect stay with a perfect review. I can’t tell you how much we appreciate a 5 star review, it makes us feel that we have accomplished what we strive to do. It seems to me that not only did you get to enjoy yourselves but you also got to enjoy everything that the hotel has to offer, including MAC 24/7 (a local favorite). I am glad that so many things made your stay memorable, from the views and location all the way down to the lamps on the side of the bed. I am a strong believer that the little things in life are what really count. Hope you had safe travels home, we will be looking forward to your next visit.

First time to Oahu, and this hotel was a good choice for us.

Location: This Hilton is located on the east end of Waikiki. It's not in the 'center', but Waikiki Beach is not a long stretch so you can walk from one end to the other in about 20-25 min. International Market Place is a 15 min walk away, and the Zoo and Aquarium are 5-10 min walking distance. Because it is on the quieter end, you won't have to deal with the hustle and bustle of Waikiki as much, which, for us, was nice. Do note that this hotel is NOT on the beach. BUT, it's only a short block away, so if you don't need to be on the beach, this is a very good option.

Service: This is a no-frills Hilton hotel. Service is not excellent, but acceptable. Concierge could have been more friendly/helpful, but should not impact your stay.

Convenience: Bus stop is just a few steps away from hotel entrance and an ABC store (convenience store) is right across the street.

Overall: We would stay here again!

Short one day stay...welcome and staff helpfulness excellent. Received an upgrade to an ocean view - great view if you look straight out to the water a couple blocks away. good fitness center. Initially hard to find parking entrance - keep a close look ot for the blue Hilton sign at street level.
