We loved our experience. The driver was right on time, the driver of the boat was excellent and the guides were great. Would strongly encourage getting the wet suit (an extra $10) as it would likely be quite cold otherwise. We did the moonlight trip (later at night) and were rewarded with a fantastic experience - lots of mantas as soon as we arrived. Apparently it can be a little hit and miss as to how many (or even if) you see them but we had lots of large mantas. It was a little intimidating to get in the water at first - and you almost freak out the first time a manta passes within 6 inches of you - but overall it was great. Felt very safe with this company and the guides. We had our 13 year old son with us - he loved it. We saw some folks there with younger kids who were freaked out. Probably not a good idea for younger children.

Swimming with the dolphins and sea turtles was definitely a great experience! However, the 1 hour bus ride out to the boat was not good as everything was spoken in Japanese and not translated into English for us. We (4 of us) were the only english speaking tourists on the bus so we were left out and were not told the same information as given to the Japanese tourists. This tour was for everyone but only catered for one nationality. It was uncomfortable. It improved a lot once we were on the boat as quite a few of the crew spoke English which was great! We just received our photos - once again, everything is writtten in Japanese so we have no idea what is being said?! A really good day disappointed by the language barrier.

This was a great trip for our family. Our captain, Ruben, steered us to the perfect area. Shane, our guide, was thoughtful and courteous. And, the assistant on the ship (I wish I knew her name) was always there to lend a helping hand in and out of the boat and to provide fresh pineapple and snacks. We had a great time. And, they included transportation to/from our hotel!

Trevor was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide. He kept us captivated with island stories on the boat and led us on a great offshore adventure. My daughter has always wanted to swim with a whale shark and we were hoping to do this. All the native islanders told us that they are extremely rare with no regular patterns or locations to find them - like a unicorn. Trevor has been doing this 3 years and has never seen one, but always on his list. So what do you know, we came across a whale shark and for 20 minutes we all swam up close and personal with this magnificent and beautiful creature. Once in a lifetime! Thanks Hawaii Experiences.
