Very friendly Korean Aunties running the place. Food was excellent. Served up hot and fresh. Parking lot is a bit of a challenge based on location and number of stalls competing with neighboring businesses.

We found this place by going into Ala Moana Center. Verity of options, good service, and excellent food. We ordered from Ttubokki to bulgoki, and all came out decent. I won't say this is top of the line, but much better than other options around this area. If you are hungry for Korean food, you should try this place before trying other places.

Love the price lunch menu $7- for tofu kimuchi soup or meat jun etc. Anything on set meal come with 4-5 small dishes. I always ask a horseradish kimuchi again. Thats super tasty. No hot plate for bbq but if all dish cooking perfectly and no complaint that we can't have fun for baking meat by ourselves. Reasonable price, decent portion, very tasty. Don't expect friendly or attentive stuff. Still can't help me to stop going.

Walk from the Ala Moana Center to this hole-in-the-wall restaurant that is packed with local people. I love their oyster jun, beef and mushroom stew, and soft tofu stew. These dishes are served with several side dishes of pickled vegetables and a bowl of steaming white rice. And the prices are great! Mmmmm!

Cho Dang has long been our favorite but lately the portions are smaller and
the staff increasingly unfriendly. Ordered a meat jun, one of their specialties and
it was one paper-thin slice of mystery meat between several layers of batter.
One of the "side" vegetables now is pasta salad, which is inexpensive for them to make but not very Korean. There are usually 2 servers. One is very nice, the other will
not smile no matter how friendly YOU are to her.
