Better than average. Fast service. Reasonable prices. Three of us ate lunch for about $30 total . Polite servers.

If you're on the north end of Vicksburg (Hwy 61 N.) and looking for Mexican food, this is the place. While it may not qualify as "authentic" Mexican, it's still good food and inexpensive, as well. Service is generally good. We've been a few times when it seemed slow but that is usually when they are really busy. We have never had trouble with our server understanding us. The young man who brings you the complimentary chips and salsa has limited English but our server(s) have always done a good job and our orders are correct.
Is it the best Mexican I've ever had? No. Is it still good? Yes.
We stopped here while traveling and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the service wonderful. If you like really hot salsa, ask for their salsa picosa...my husband said it was great! He had the salsa special and I had the chicken chilaquiles and both were delicious. The portions were large (this was off the lunch menu) and the prices reasonable. Highly recommend. Our GPS had it on the wrong side of the road though.
This was the poorest excuse for Mexican food. The service was also terrible. The chilli rellenos was not as described because there was no whole chilies. I had a small piece of bell pepper with ground beef and cheese.. The tacos were hard Del Taco shells. The shredded beef was acrid.
We asked the hotel for a good Mexican place and they told us about this one. Ok first I am from Texas and no one does Tex-Mex like Texas. Beef enchiladas had no chili and the salsa was nothing more than tomatos sauce. The taco's was good. The rice and beans were ok.
