Trying this on our ice cream tour of Cincinnati. Had strawberry chocolate chip and wasn't disappointed. Big chunks of fresh strawberries and creamy chocolate. Good prices, about $3 for single scoop in bowl. Lots of candies to chose from if you'd like something to go.

I haven't had Aglamesis for several years and stopped by this weekend. This is by far the best ice cream experience to be found in cincinnati. The history of his business is so interesting and they have kept that intact over the years so that you can still enjoy the ice cream parlor of years gone by. This truly tastes like the home made ice cream my dad used to make and is must richer than its competition. You are served water and you order from a menu at your table. Everything is served with care. The ice cream in a metal tall cup. The soda ice creams delivered in a fancy glass and malts are served with a straw with two butter cookies around them. Stinking cute! You also get the metal malted mixer. Who still does that! Brings back such fond memories and all service is with a welcoming smile. This is definitely the total experience and on a totally different scale from any competitor. Try it. You won't be disappointed!

I am from Cincinnati and indeed worked at Aglamesis as a teenager. I always said their ice cream was better than Graeters. HOWEVER for the past 2 or 3 years I have bought a half dozen pints or so of various flavors and something has changed and unfortunately NOT for the better. I don't know if they changed the base or what but it simply cannot compare to the way it used to taste. I would appreciate it if anyone else has noticed this if they would speak out or if it is just me.

Adorable. Charming. An old fashioned ice cream parlor. They make their ice creams and have standard flavors. Sundaes and floats galore. Strawberry chip is good. The scoops are generous. They also double as a candy shop. Prices for candy by the pound are on par with see's but locally made. Staff is friendly seats are inside and outside. Go for their brownies. Fudgey delight! Did not like the milkshake (very thin) but it came with a cute flower shaped sugar cookie.

If you like pink or retro or charming places, this place is it. It's so cute! Perfect way to end a date or to take kids or visit with girlfriends.
