Made a visit to the Reds Hall of Fame Museum before a Reds game, being a Reds fan I enjoyed seeing the exhibits and displays, nice place to spend an hour while waiting for the game to start

“Great place for Reds and baseball fans in general”
Reviewed 4 June 2009

This is a must for Red's fans but also for baseball fans in general. The team is the oldest in baseball and really has a history to match those from "big cities". This exhibit has it all , including an exhibit on their old ball park, Crosley Field, and lots of stuff on the Big Red Machine from the 70's. There are some interactive exhibits, including my favorite, a real pitching mound where you can throw pitches at a strike zone at regulation distance (it is not easy) with a speed gun as well. Fun stuff.
It is right next to the ballpark so you can combine this easily with a game. Actually we visited partially during a rain delay and went back after the game ended. It costs $10 but is well worth it. The ticket is good all year actually. Allow for 2 hours or so. There is also a gift shop of course.
If you like baseball, it is a must see.

“Cincinnati Reds Stadium/Museum/Hall of Fame”
Reviewed 18 April 2009

The shuttle service from Newport across the river to Cincinnati was very, very convenient. The new stadium and museum/hall of fame were great. Husband, an old Cincinnati fan (and a high school and American Legion baseball player when he was young), 16 year old grandson and I all enjoyed this visit. Very clean and, again, very competent employees.
