This is the only property (managed by Xantera) in Yellowstone that is clean and reasonably well-run and comparable to a standard 2 to 3 star motel. The other properties are such dumps, that it makes Snow Lodge seem absolutely wonderful.
Yet, it is still overpriced and in a normal market a room would only command $75 in Montana / Wyoming.
The dining room is the best in the park for breakfast. In particular, for visitors to Old Faithful, while Old Faithful Inn only offers a buffet breakfast, Snow Lodge offers both buffet and menu ... and for vegans even has a tofu burrito (be sure to ask for extra tofu, or you'll only get one tablespoon). Have not had dinner there yet. (We live nearby, so will give it a try perhaps this fall or winter.)
This is the only accommodation in the park that I can recommend. Fortunately, it is open in the winter too - a fantastic time to see Yellowstone.More
