“Basic needs here and some attractions; sport shop CLOSED!”
Review of Yosemite Village

Yosemite Village
Reviewed August 15, 2017

This is the only place to get your shopping done, BUT, they have closed the sport shop entirely so if you need gear for your camping or outdoor activities, you are out of luck. (More of Aramark's reduction of service and emphasis on their needs above those of the people who have loved Yosemite all their lives.) The Village Store has a few items but it's mostly tourist crap. Groceries, fine, a few camp supplies but not much, and the burger grill is still there, plus Degnan's Deli, Anselmo Adams Gallery (NOT run by Aramark, thankfully), PO and museum and visitor info Ctr.

Yosemite National Park is a wonderfull place to visit, but the Yosemite Village cars traffic : it is a shame, the management of the cars traffic is poor, many many delays to drive in Yosemite Valley, it is a pity, it is so hard that you think to never come again !!! it is a pity

Absolution brilliant and stunning place. Well recommend going here and spending a adventure and wonderful time in the great out doors! There's so much to do here and can't wait to return with my boy and enjoy white water rafting and swimming in the river as well as cycling around the park.

The prices here are awesome. Fresh fruits. Wonderful snacks and souvenirs. It even has great foods that you can use to pack for your picnic lunches or dinners. We LOVED the peanut butter, jelly and the loaf of bread. Whole family snacked on that and it was filling. Grocery store in the middle of nowhere! Real bathrooms too--what a relief. Great job guys!

They have a good selection of souvenirs. The prices are pretty high, even after changing to new vendors. Hopefully much of the profit is going back into the upkeep of Yosemite.
