The hotel was quite all right with huge areas. The location was great and close to the sea. Our room was large, but the furniture was a little worn and obviously used by many guests who have been here before us. The bathroom was all right. The rooms were not cleaned very well.
The breakfast was simple, but sufficient. We had to eat cold fried eggs when we came early for breakfast. The egg station was unserved for a long time before the responsible person arrived. He had obviously fried the eggs early and then left for a period.
The swimming pool seemed allright. We did not use it because of bad weather.
The service was good, but some of the waiters did not understand or speek English. Some were not so eager to do their jobs, others were very attentive and serviceminded.
The wi-fi was difficult and almost impossible to use. It did not function very well if you succeeded to get on internett. The capacity was bad. The connection dissappeared periodically and was gone for hours, almost for one day at the most. Expect nothing and you won't be disappointed.
Average minus, sometimes poor.

The hotel is decent, but when comparing to the price I have paid, i would say that it s below my expectation.
The location is quite nice, located just 15 mins from Pattaya Downtown in Na Jontien, good for relaxing quietly. Especially that it is close to Ocean Marina Yatch Club, which make it wonderful to see the sunset on the beach. The pool also look nice with Thai style decoration.
The external decoration is nice with unique thai style, along with well-trained staff who always keen to support you and give you a big smile.
But for me there are several points to be improved. One is the in-room furniture, even it is still usable, but i think it should have better maintenance, especially wooden stuff. Also the breakfast buffet line is not that good, as most of them are not heated, even egg or rice.

We like the room (very specious) , swimming pools, staffs are very friendly and the beach is very nice. However we were having lunch, dinner and breakfast at the hotel, none of our meals were good, very disappointed. It could be really nice just to stay in enjoying the holiday if only you could eat in the hotel. However there are a few hotels nearby where you could go and eat there.

This is one of the series of 4+ star hotels on the strip of Jom Tien beach, Pattaya. The Dor Shada entrance is magnificent, it looks like a mix between a temple and and a huge old fashioned Thai style house. Staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms are big and light, the bed really comfortable. Our room had a little balcony, which is always nice. Bathroom is functional, could use freshening up, but is sufficient.
The pool areas are not really up to standard anymore; the outdoor area looks a bit run down. The pool bar is very nice, sitting in the water on concrete but surprisingly comfortable bar stools. The beach area could be great, but is not anymore. There are lots of trees on the beach, so shadow is readily available. But most of the wooden deck chairs are broken, most mattresses are torn and dirty, the area is not cleaned and newly set up at night, so it looks messy and run down. There are big bean bags in this area as well, a really nice idea, but again torn, leaking tiny foam balls and dirty. A real pity, as the area is so pretty and so much could be done to make it truly beautiful!
Breakfast is nothing extraordinary, but the spread is reasonable and looks/tastes good. It would be nice though if the person behind the egg station spoke at least the egg language in English, so that you can explain what kind of egg you'd like....
Having stayed at the Movenpick and the Ravindra, all comparable price and location wise, this one is not the one I would return to for another week end at the sea.

Room tip: Building one has no view but is very quiet.

The resort is huge with various corners with activities. The room was at a right size, spacious, and well maintained. The beach was accessible from the hotel. We did walk on the beach up to the yacht club after dinner. Breakfast was OK, a good variety and good taste. However, the service in the restaurant was fantastic.
