Summary: Mainly a Fresh Seafood Restaurant Thai Style 30 minutes south of Pattaya off Sukhumvit Road provides an excellent service and Seafood selection of traditional Thai “upper class Cuisine”. Spacious car-parking available. A flight of steps brings one in to the main Restaurant. Cordial welcome, shows the table. The restaurant is airy, with view on to the harbor with fishing boats which have done their service and almost remind of a painting of a French expressionist.
Two of us ordered 5 dishes which one like the other was perfectly presented and tasted equally superb. The 5 course selection was a Chinese styled Steamed Garoupa in Soy Sauce, Herbs and Spring Onions; timely finished “Hong Kong Style” with the meat still slightly translucent along the middle bone. Softshell Crab lightly Spiced and Oyster Sauce. Sautéed Morning Glory with plenty of Garlic; Homok, a fish curry dish prepared to perfection in a Banana-leave held together with tooth-picks. Fried Seafood Fried Rice. Homok a most excellent Crab dish in a round container made of Banana leave. On special request all came at the same time, hot and very appetizing.
We enjoyed a bottle a very refreshing Pinot Gris, 2014, the Anchorage Family Estate in Nelson New Zealand which we did bring along from our own sources.
The service at all times was most attentive by the young lady who spoke some useful English to make our order come through perfectly missing out on nothing including the drink service. At all times with a smile and a perfect attitude stood out.
Plenty of fresh brises from the bay supported by ventilators on two sides of the table, but not unduly affecting the warmth of the well prepared and presented dished.
First class recommendation, if the place is not packed, especially week-ends.
