We stayed two nights and had booked a room at the annex next to the port. The room was beautifully appointed and the hotel provides a shuttle that picks you up whenever you need to go to the hotel in the citadel. The citadel hotel is well maintained and the staff extremely friendly. We would definitely come back if in the area.

This is one of the few hotels actually located within the citadel of Bonifacio. It is a very short walk from the main street with lots of shops and restaurants, and has great views of the harbor. It has a gated lot, which makes parking easy.

The room was very spacious, clean, with great lighting and a modern bathroom. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and warm, and spoke perfect English. We only stayed here one night, but wish we'd stayed longer!

Okay it's a quality hotel at an expensive price BUT nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
Get a room looking over the harbour if you can AMAZING.
Car parking was really tight once parked up WALK everywhere .... frankly in Bonafacio that's the quickest form of transport.
The cafes and restaraunts in the Citadel Old Town are small and quite narrow in menu and space. The conditions any time of day are hot hot hot in July and August.
The port area has a larger range of eating establishments with a big variation in price. The boat posers are worth toggling at whilst you dine.

My wife thought so or at least in the top 3, We're both 60+ and have done our fair share of travel. From the service, to the room and view, the pool, the restaurant, to the nearby shops and restaurants, it was the perfect place to experience Bonifacio, We had taken the mid morning ferry over from Sardinia and had a little trouble getting a taxi (seemed to be an ongoing problem) and arrived about noon. Our room wasnt ready of course but we changed and went to the pool for a swim and lunch. The hotel is part of the old city walls and you have simply incredible views from the pool area to the harbor below as well as a path down that we constantly saw people walking below us. Room was ready early. Good size, comfortable. We got a room with a harbor view and a private balcony. Great place to have a drink and watch the sights. Staff always friendly and helpful. There is an amazing restaurant (Minute Moule) just across the street for mussels. We ate at the hotel one night and dinner was fantastic. Amazing grilled veggies and some of the best lamb chops ever had. Only regret is not having more days
