Owner description: River Rapids Adventures is JAMAICA'S most popular river attraction located just 20 minutes from the Falmouth cruise port. We currently offer 4 fun activities on the Rio Bueno river with something for everyone in the family to enjoy . For mild adventure seekers, we offer our river rafting tour, a popular excursion for guests who want to enjoy the many moods of the river in a white water raft captained by one of our experienced tour guides. For something a little more challenging, we have a white water kayaking tour for 2, great for couple or friends who want to paddle on their own and get a better feel of the class 1 and class 2 rapids found along the river course. Our recently added tubing tour is a sure bet for those of you wanting a wet and wild ride on the river while enjoying the safety and comfort of your own river tube. If those 3 tours just don't offer enough excitement, then our river boarding tour is surely for you. Gear up, grab your river board, and surf the cool waters of the Rio Bueno as you make your way through multiple sections of splashing rapids and crystal clear river pools. All tours are fully guided and end on a private beach located close to the river delta. Refreshments, Snacks, Photos, and Souvenirs are available for purchase at the beach.

Wonderful trip from start to finish. The air conditioned bus trip there took you through a somewhat scenic veiw of the city of Falmouth. When we got to the tubing location we were met with a friendly staff ready to get us suited up in helmets and life jackets as well as a tube suited for your size. All of your belongings are left on the bus while you tube. Water shoes aren't a must, we wore our Crocs flip flops and we all made it back with shoes. You do have to carry your own tube to the river entrance which is about a 5ish minute walk through the jungle. The water is very cold but you are only splashed by water and never submerged. There are rapids, we thought it would be a lazy river ride but it was alittle more adventurous than that. Our guide,Landrick, was really nice and accommodating, he worked hard keeping us from the rivers edge and rocks in the water. You end in a shallow part of the river, easy to exit your tube. A raft attached to a motor boat takes you to a beach. Your belongings meet you at the beach and they have been removed from the bus and placed on picnic tables at this location. I was uneasy about that but nothing was missing. The bus ride back had a guide telling you about things related to Jamiaca.

A great day, looked after by Robert a very calm and relaxed guy! Finished up at the beach where there was plenty Red Stripe to be had along with other bits and bobs that could be bought at a decent price.

Awesome time riding the rapids on the inner tubes. my parents went along (they are 70) and could do everything on the tour. Guides were really nice and we would go for a relaxing tour like this again.

We had a great afternoon trip with River Rapids Adventure. Our driver was waiting on us and we had a scenic and informative drive to the River Rapids location. Our family of 4 was originally going to use the raft, but our tour guide O'Shane suggested we would have a better experience in the tubes. We took his asvide and were glad we did. O'Shane was awesome. He took time to tell my kids about the forest we were in and about the river. He took us to the starting point of our river journey and let us swim, take pictures and made sure everyone was safe when walking over slippery rocks. I can't say enough good things about O'Shane. He made sure we had fun. He made sure we were safe, and he made sure we were entertained. This is a great adventure for any families wanting a river adventure. Be prepared as you have to go off the beaten path to get to their facility but it is absolutely worth it.

Take the tubes over the raft, you will be glad you did.

O'Shane is an outstanding tour guide !!!!!

Being part of a private excursions organised by Karandas, we really enjoyed River Bueno descent. Upfront we wanted to arrange a floating device to make the descend, to make sure we could do it 'our way'. But this was not needed, was said in an email. Upon arrival tough, we did not have a choice .... But guide Errol managed to change this for us and went looking for all the needed devices. He did a marvelous job escorting us on the way 'down' in our boards and floaties. Great job Errol ! ty ! greetz from Belgium
