This is superb - very cool couple of hours and so much to see. The whole thing is brilliant and well beyond expectations - highly recommended

To me this place was a collection of old rubbish, with very little organisation and no information about anything in the place. I'd rather do just about anything else. At least it's dry, though you have to walk between the warehouses which aren't covered.

To my father in law it was a fascinating trip down memory lane, seeing the cars he drove when he was young, trucks used for different things, and other memorabilia. He'd have been happy there all day.

So if you like this sort of thing it might be ok, but I don't think it will appeal to many.

I was in total awe at what we saw in this museum....anything that could have been collected in the way of toys & transport items were here. It's a huge place, with many displays & buildings with vehicles...aircrafts etc. We didn't have a whole lot of time to spend here, but if you do...please take your time & enjoy all the wonderful items that are on display....it quite incredible

Spread over four buildings providing 100,000sq ft of display area, which appeared to be completely filled with grouped range of vehicles, planes, toys, and nostalgic memorabilia collected over 50 years. Outdoor display areas also featured additional items that could not be fitted indoors. Not all items are restored to top condition such as found in the Nelson Classic Cars Museum, but the vast display offers an intriguing insight into decades of development in vehicles, toys, appliances etc.
It pays to have a time management plan in order to prioritise your visit over such a large display area.

Allow plenty of time to view all the items in the fantastic museum. There are so many toys 100's of Barbies, Star Wars sets, Lego, Smurfs and much much more amongst the cars, trucks, fire engines and planes. A great museum to keep all ages interested. Well worth a visit.
