This Motel is in residential area, hence very quiet. But still not far from cafes and shopes. Our room appeared to have been recently refurbished. It was very comfortable and clean. Off street Parking is good.

Very nice, clean, well equipped family run motel close to the town center. Stayed here for two nights. Had a nice, spacious cabin. Washing machines and powder are for free, drying costs little extra. Would definitely come back! Also the hosts are very friendly!

Note, make sure you pre-book your dinner in advance as the good restaurants fill up very quickly and you won’t have any chance to get a table!

Although the access driveway and parking is not paved, this is a nice quiet place to stay away from the downtown area of Lake Wanaka. The rooms are large, comfortable, and as they all contain cooking facilities you can choose to make some of your meals or heat up prepared meals from the supermarket if you wish.

Our room was extremely compact with no air conditioning. A little tired would really sum it up. We were in room number 14 and access to the room next door is on a wooden walk way behind ours. Our neighbours were extremely noisy and the walls appear to be paper thin. Also the neighbours have dogs which like to bark regularly.

We were surprised to find our GPS sending us to an area of normal housing but once in the parking bay the smiles began. Hosts were excellent to the extent that they granted us free use of the laundry facilities which solved that problem. The standard studio room was large, well set out with all facilities to prepare meals had we wanted too. Trying to enter my car with a micro SD card I dropped it among the gravel and after 20 minutes gave up looking for it. One word an hour later to a young Irish lass in reception had her assisting us and she found it saving us angst as we had wanted to save this footage. Can not recommend this establishment highly enough.

Room tip: Whatever you get will be good.
