The food was excellent. The waiter was very patient with our broken French. Got to watch the chefs prepare our meal.

Delicious food, perfect hospitality, good ambiance, well-located. Price range is okay also. Wine list is short but satisfying.
We have been to this restaurant on and off over the years as it has changed hands a few times. It has always had interesting food but now it has stepped up a notch. We went with friends and sampled a broad cross section of the menu that evening - everything was well presented, the service was perfect (attentive without being too attentive) and the food was super. The reason I haven't given 5 stars is the pork of my husband and I was just a little overcooked. It isn't the cheapest in Thuir but gives excellent value for money.
Very tasty food; for our main courses Julia had tuna and I chose prawns. Both meals were excellent. We had no table reservation but were seated just outside the restaurant entrance. The service was good, but the food was better :)
I started with a huge plate of jambon cru, some of the best I have ever eaten, served with pain catalan, bread soaked in tomato and olive oil. Then came pluma de cochon iberique, deliciously cooked pork with chorizo, onion and very good potatoes, followed by a generous portion of cheese served with local confiture. With an aperitif, half a bottle of local wine and a coffee it came to less than 60 euros, excellent value for some very good food. Service was friendly and efficient. To be recommended.
