This was our first visit after the new owners took over (which is more than a year ago) and I was surprised of the high quality.
There is a small place to eat outside and some 10+ tables inside. The cuisine is very much French (not so Catalan as many places are here) and both the ambition and what is served on the plates are indeed top notch. The produce is more or less local. The wine list is not very long but also serves what is good in the region. The food itself is presented beautifully and the portions are rich enough if you have more than one dish, I would say all three is a good idea.
The staff is friendly, they don't have a children menu but they do their best to find something out with you if you ask.
About the staff, I can imagine it is not very easy to find staff to serve and prepare at this level in Thuir and most of them look to me a bit young and lacking in experience but they work very well together and the experienced one/ones look after the other and maintain the high quality. Well done.
