Believe this to be the most westerly pub in Europe - if it is it doesn't promote itself very well.
Had a few drinks in there recently service was good but lacks atmosphere. Its a large room with a tiled floor with photographs from films shot in the area on the walls. The real plus is that this pub is in a great location.
If you need a drink then fine but no wonderful experience.

walked to Krugers from Ballyferriter. A coastal walk as part of the Wild Atlantic Way(drive). I last visited Krugers about 30 years ago. They say the next pub you will find is in New York U.S.A. It really has not changed at all.

Unfortunately this pub made no effort to promote themselves or attract people to visit. They are on the Dingle Way and the only pub in Dunquin.

We stopped there when we first arrived in village after a 6 hour walk! asked what time they were open to and was told depends on how busy, but 9pm earliest!!

Not very friendly!

This place is a local institute. The owner, an 80 y.o. lady who doesn't really have any energy for the customers (though she is nice and service well) and gives the place it's unique vibe of getting to the end of the world in it's best way possible.

It's a place to stop after after a long day on the Dingle Way, have beers and talk. When we were there there was even no music. And we had a great time. You just need good compan.

no food.

Out for a walk along a way marked route which takes in rugged coastline and a little bit of a hill walk, we detoured for a pint in Kruger's. This doesn't look much from the outside, but don't be put off by appearances. Kruger's is typical of many rural bars in Ireland....functional ! Seeing that there was a menu, we chanced our arm and ordered lunch. We were 12 adults, 2 babes in arms and a dog. All enjoyed the food, with the open crab sandwich a hit with those fortunate enough to have chosen this. The Guinness was good too. So don't let appearances put you off...you will be welcomed, well fed and watered.
