This hotel is located right next to the Arona railway station. It is a triangular structure between two converging roads. It is close to the banks of Lake Maggiore.
You enter into a small room, which further opens into the bedroom through one door and the bathroom through the other. The bedroom is reasonably spacious. The floor is carpeted. There is an attached balcony with sitting area, which is quite good, especially when the sun is out and you get a clear view of the lake. The bathroom is clean but the enclosed shower area is small.
The flower pots in the balcony give a great look to the hotel when viewed from the main road. The walkway along the banks of the lake near the hotel offers a great view and is ideal for runs/walks/strolls. This place is quite active during weekends and holidays.
The wi-fi speed is satisfactory. The room key holder is heavy. There is no door bell. The top floor is a bar cum viewing gallery, where you get a panoramic view of areas nearby, including Lake Maggiore.
The breakfast spread has the speciality of the bakery. A variety of cakes, buns, pies and cookies welcome you in the morning.

Room Tip: Take rooms with the balconies facing east (towards the lake).

Stayed in the hotel for one night. Glad it wasn’t for longer. The decor is dated and could do with a total revamp. Carpet in the wall and doors was an interesting feature. Shower head in the room was broken and no shower screen.
The best way to describe the look would be something from
The 1960s. Not sure when it got its 4 star rating but I’d guess it wasn’t recent.
On the plus side it’s in a great location if you get a room overlooking the lake.

Been in this hotel for at least 19th times and what can I say?! Simply the best!! Excellent food, spacious rooms all with AC and a minifridge. The hotel is situated in the heart of Arona opposite lake Maggiore. A big thanks to all the staff for their excellent service. Keep it up & hope to see you soon.

Although the staff are really fantastic and helpful and the food is great, what stops this getting 4 stars is the very dated dark rooms. But it is very clean and we just tried to make the most of it. We stayed half board and the food is really fantastic with an entree, choice of 4 starters, choice of 4 mains then choice of lovely desserts. Drinks are chargeable to the room. The waiting staff are really friendly and helpful. Fabio is very good happy waiter. Breakfast is continental style but excellent with a great choice of pastries. The room definitely needs modernising but has a fridge with some drinks/snacks (chargeable). There is a safety deposit box which needs a key from reception (free). The room also has a kettle and cups. Also good quality free Wi-Fi. The lake view rooms balcony had great views of the lake, Alps, and Castello Borromere. The hotel is right next to Arona station. Overall though despite the room, a lovely holiday with fantastic food.

Things to do:

Arona has a large market every Tuesday 9am to 12.30am.
Arona also has a lovely promenade that is nice to walk along to the square north which has lots of cafes, bars, etc.
Arona also has lots of nice shops along an atmospheric alleyway.

You can get train to Milan which takes 1 hour and cost 6 euro each way.

You can also get the train to Stresa which takes 15 minutes and cost 3 euro each way.

Just remember to validate your tickets before you get on the train in the machines.

Stresa is beautiful and has boat trips to Isola Bella and Isola Superiore.

This hotel is very well located at downtown of Arona, near the train station! You can do whatever you need by your foot! The crew of the hotel is fantastic, since the barman until the owner! If you are planning to visit this area, undoubtedly that's tha place to stay!
