They do make you feel at home. Clean, spacious, very well and elegantly appointed rooms and hotel in general. Excellent restaurant below my quarters in the annex. I wouldn't normally have cake for breakfast but it was just too good to turn down! Must be a Sicilian thing. Valeted my car on the street for free (there's a reasonable fee for the garage). Wish I could've spent a few more days in Modica and Palazzo Failla is a major reason.

This is old fashioned elegance brought up to date. We stayed in the dependence with the red flock wallpaper and the double jacuzzi. Boy was that fun. Staff are serious, professional and very helpful. Excellent wifi, minibar..we booked via a travel agent at home - not pleased to find we could have got it a lot cheaper via TripAdvisor! And no they don't pay me to say that!!

We loved the hotel. It was very old school glamour - enormous ceilings, enormous furniture. It had really rare quality and style. It wasn't my fiance's ideal place, but I absolutely loved the grandeur of it - especially staying in the beautiful, baroque Modica.
We enjoyed a lot of excellent tips from the very, very friendly and helpful staff.

Room Tip: Treat yourself to a meal at Locanda del Colonnello Ristorante - amazing food and very nearby

Been for 2 nights in Palazzo Failla last June. The hotel is located in "Modica alta", the upper neighborhood of Modica, close to the Duomo di San Giorgio. The staff is very efficient and polite, check-in was a breeze. The decoration of the hotel is very classic and well preserved. The room has air conditioner, TV and mini fridge. Breakfast is good, with lots of assortments. There is also a supermarket very close to the hotel. Wifi worked well all the time. Private parking is 12 euros a day or as an alternative the hotel staff can park your car on the streets for free.

great place to stay. staff and family of palazzo were very nice, helpful and went out of there way to accommodate anything they could. the father even picked some of the people up downtown when they couldn't get a taxi. great location, nice breakfast with fresh pastries and unlimited coffee. the place was spotless and well decorated. they had a wonderful bar and always gave little nibbles with the cocktails. you can sit outside and watch the world go by under an umbrella. it was across from a wine bar but near some great restaurant and a supermarket around the corner. they will park your car for you also. well run, very nice and i would return again. our rooms were in the attic but still had an elevator and were large with skylights only. if you want the other rooms please specify. i looked at them and they were huge, with beautiful tiles and balconies and large windows. i would definitely stay there again without hesitation

Room Tip: more opulent rooms are not on the top floor but would be great for a large family as two rooms are adjoining if necessary.
