We had an unforgettable stay in the fantastic Villa Cima Del Pomer. The house is located in the most beautiful surroundings in the Hills outside Monfumo. The view is amazing.
The House itself is fully equipped with everything, everything. It is located privately with own electrical gate and offers complete privacy. Our kids truly enjoyed the relaxed lige around the pool.
The welcome and friendliness by the owner Alessandra was very professional. She had even arranged fresh bread being delivered to the house every Morning.
If looking for a holiday home in the area - this is THE place.
After a wonderful week in Venice, my family of four arrived at this incredible gated property in the beautiful hills outside Asolo. We were met by our most gracious and charming host, Alessandra who is a font of knowledge about the whole area.
The house is a spacious, comfortable, immaculately clean, and exquisitely decorated country house. The outside is as inviting as the inside with comfortable seating and beautiful views everywhere. Just strolling around the property admiring the views is a treat. You can sit out on the terrace until late into the night reading under the ample lighting. Then in the morning stroll down to the gate and pick up the fresh bread Alessandra has delivered. My teenage boys loved that.
The location is perfect for any number of day trips to the fascinating old towns like Bassano del Grappa, Castlefranco, Cittadella, Feltre, etc. or to the Belluno Dolomites or Mt Grappa. And it's basically right next to old town Asolo which is a great place to walk around and have a drink on the terrace of an old castle or a meal in an amazing restaurant-Alessandra knows them all and is happy to help with reservations, suggestions, whatever you need.
My only regret is not getting a chance to visit the family winery. Because, last but not least, Alessandra has a line of amazing Prosecco which just happens to be one of my favorite wines.
You'll be in good hands and in a great place if you choose to stay here.
We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Cima del Pomer. The home is spacious, nicely designed and furnished, and in all ways comfortable, but what we loved even more were the grounds, which are both beautiful and beautifully maintained. Very quiet, beautiful flora and fauna. (There's a tendency to start counting the hour when the local cuckoo starts calling, but you get over it in a few days.)
Alessandra is a gracious host, and we had the pleasure of meeting her charming husband and daughter as well when we visited the family winery, and then sat in their kitchen enjoying a glass of prosecco (over our time there, we tried the Cima del Pomer Brut, Dry and Extra Dry, all excellent--my favorite was the Extra Dry, my wife's the Brut, but all went well with the chicken and fish that we prepared in the kitchen).
Our only complaint really was that our visit was too short.
