Easily not known, located in Clarence Marina, but a great find, it looks out onto the water and marina (would be great sitting out in the summer).

We just had cocktails (great choices), and a charcuterie type sharing platter which stood out as being better and tastier than the standard sharer that is often found elsewhere.

The building and atmosphere created inside, has a really nice chilled vibe, with separate large bar area, restaurant space and an upstairs gin bar. Whilst we had popped in about 5ish with the kids, (4 and 7, but luckily quiet and well behaved), who were quite welcomed, (the platter was their tea) it is a proper adult space, and very nice for it.

Starting off- please don’t serve pimms in a pint glass!
A “nice” starter at £9 did not justify what we got. They tried to be prestigious but it was “nice” and nothing better.
Mains were burgers- I wanted a steak but at £30, it was more than top end London. Again, it was nice, but only putting peanut butter on the bun, didn’t justify the burger or the cost.
This place is okay, trying to charge ridiculous prices for very average food. For what else is in the area, we won’t be back soon!

Late lunch with a friend.. The lovely old bakery building renovated mixing the old and new and has great views over the harbour..
We had a couple of bottles of Processco (£25 each) and ordered an array of starters to share. The food was lovely with good variation.. they also have an extentive cocktail list.
The bar manager was attentive and helpful.
Will definately be visiting again for evening drinks and meals with friends..

Six of us visited for a Mothers Day meal and we weren't disappointed at all!
Even though it was extremely busy, the service was attentive and the food came promptly and was absolutely delicious.
Everyone enjoyed their meals and the creme brulee with shortbread and chilli biscuits were especially Devine!
Thanks to everyone involved for a great afternoon!

We visited the Victualler today (Sunday) for lunch. We booked in advance and on arrival the reception was very friendly.

Inside the decor is very good, rustic, welcoming and spacious.

We had been recommended by friends to try the Peanut burgers, Unfortunately as it was a Sunday lunch the waitress told us this was not available and we had to choose from the specific Sunday lunch menu.

At bit disappointed (although we should have checked beforehand) we ordered a couple of dishes.

A couple of minutes later the waitress returned and said she had spoken to chef and he was happy to make the burger for us happy days

The burger duly arrived, served directly by the chef along with additional home made peanut butter. It was fabulous, very well cooked and presented.

We thourghly enjoyed our lunch and the service given was exceptional.

Defiantly be back soon and recommend totally.
