Went again to this for lunch. Don't be put off by the cafe/self service place inside door ( this still serves very good home cooked food!). Go to the restaurant further in The menu is good and the home cooked food excellent! I had probably the best ever home made chicken pie which was about 1 inch deep in good chicken with a nice pastry top. The chips were home cooked and excellent. My wife had a very good fish pie with a nice selection of vegetables. The sweets were good and the home made lemon meringue pie was amazing ! To top this off a bottle of local beer was well worth trying.
The staff and service was good. Keep it up Jenny!
My only criticism is that they should consider redoing the outer self service/coffee shop and replace the horrible tables and chairs which may put people off using the restaurant.

My wife and I love coming here and always call in for lunch when we are in the area.

Good quality food cooked well, best chips we’ve found in North Wales, or anywhere else really!

Lovely lemon meringue!

Will be ordering some of the take-out pies for Xmas

Amazing service and dog friendly

Thank you!

Excellent service. Staff lovely, even the young ones. We always have the steak pie, delicious, meat melts in your mouth. Plenty of different seasonal veg or chips with it. Overflow back room not the same as sitting in main room -no atmosphere. That's the only fault. Visit here 6 plus times a year.

We visited Jenny's while waiting for the train the place is divided into two parts the first part is made up of fixed plastic bucket seats which is where we sat the other part is a bit more up market.
The day we were there the were all in fancy dress ( or do they always dress like that?)
We only had a brew and the granddaughter had a sausage roll
The food looked good and they had take away meals and good healthy food such as salad ( nice)
Would we call again? Yes I think so.

We popped into Jenny's whilst touring North Wales.

Jenny's is a large cafe / restaurant and we visited the cafe part.

For an afternoon snack the choice was comprehensive with the sandwiches being freshly made to order. The fresh quiche was very good too.

The food was nice and very good value for money.

The service was quick and friendly.

The bright yellow seats had seen better days with tears in the fabric however they were still comfy enough.

There was also a very good selection of take away foods and cakes especially the enormous meringues.
