I visited Bettws as a solo traveller attending a luxury ladies fitness weekend. The accommodation in the Hall House did not disappoint. There were 5 sumptuous en-suite rooms in the main house. I was lucky enough to stay in the spit-fire room with a fabulous king sized bed and beautiful views of the Hall gardens and Welsh countryside. I was not crazy over the animal skin rug, but the roll top bath, big walk-in shower were brilliant. The room has cozy-comfy carpets, white robes and a few l'Occitane toiletries, which were a nice touch.
14 of us (plus a dog) stayed here for a week to celebrate a significant birthday within the family. We've done this a couple of times before elsewhere, and the accommodation and facilities were much better than we have encountered elsewhere. En-suites, decent catering facilities, dog-friendly grounds and the hot tub were particular favourites.
The only downside to our stay was that so many of the local footpaths were not maintained, sign-posted or even blocked...a shame cos the local countryside is amazing...

Clean, beautifully decorated and has everything you will need. we came prepared with our own food and drinks, but there is a choice of supermarkets in the nearest town. Fantastic, friendly service when booking and checking in.
The lodges are on the outskirts of a quaint little village, fantastic local pub is just a short walk away. Plenty of beautiful walks through woodlands, hills and streams to explore nearby. The gardens are beautiful too and such a relaxing atmosphere. The outdoor hot tub is perfect!
We wanted to do some local activities and a bit of sight seeing and the people at Bettws Hall helped with making arrangements and recommendations.
We will certainly be booking again.

This place is just beautiful. I bought some friends from work to sample the beautiful area that I live. They were just blown away by this place.
The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and all have ensuites.
The kitchen has a massive range cooker if you want to do any cooking. However they do offer to bring caterers in if you require.
The lounge is lovely and cosy. There is a lovely log burner and it just feels homely.
The hot tub was a big hit as was the sauna. there is plenty of room in there.
A fantastic weekend was had by all. They want me to book it for next year.
Thank you very much for letting us stay.
Last year myself and a group of friends stayed in the Beeches Lodge and had a fantastic time that we booked again for this year in the Willows Lodge. It did not dissapoint!
Both lodges have beautiful bedrooms, all en-suite which when there are 16 adults is a real advantage! Large seating areas, lovely grounds and the hot tub was fab.
Will be booking back up for a 3rd year in a row. Thanks to all the staff that helped with booking and showing us around.
I traveled here with a group of friends for a weekend away! We had a fantastic weekend, the lodge was beautiful, and the lady who greeted us Ann was great, very helpful! They helped us organised to go clay pigeon shooting on the Saturday which was great fun and we had a meal down the local pub the 'Bull and Heifer' which was a great pub and delicious food, and real country pub.
All in all we had a great weekend with loads of laughs, in a great location, and looking forward to when we next come to stay!
