All food was very well presented and looked beautiful on the plate. Due to the size of the group I think we had everything on the menu. There were no complaints. Favorite starter for the group was mushroom with goats cheese. It was nice to have accompanying potatoes and vegetables to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the lemon drizzle cheesecake. My only suggestion would be to have more vegetarian choice as there was only a quiche for me, it was nice but I would have probably chose something different if it had been available.

We went as a large group and this was managed very well for a busy evening even when a couple of people were late they could accommodate for us to eat a little later. We had pre ordered, this was handled well and they got the correct food to the correct person seamlessly, this even followed through to paying the bill. They managed to get everyone's dishes out at the same time; no mistakes or delays.

We came here on a bank holiday to celebrate a birthday and had a great time. It was fairly quiet and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The menu is short but covers all bases. The food came out promptly and was delicious and plentiful. We all had the Sticky Toffee pudding for dessert and it was incredible!! A quick chat with the owner revealed it (like all their food) is homemade and had been a best seller for 20+ years!!

We also had some very nice wine, and the bill was very reasonable.

Thank you for a lovely dinner!!

Lovely place. Good for families as they have a garden and play area. Gorgeous lamb shank, friendly staff and would heartily recommend it.
