We really enjoyed our stay here. Two females travelling with next to no spanish can be difficult but Norma and Luis were fantastic hosts. If you get the opportunity have your meals at the casa. Food in Cuba is often awful but we had fantastic and massive breakfasts and dinners at the Casa. Luis also took us on a walking tour through the countryside which was fantastic. Out through the fields, an old man showed us how they make cigars, swimming in caves and past the prehistoric wall. It was a long trek but one of our highlights and it wasn´t touristy and gimmicky. They are really central to the plaza for the live music at night and the bus stop. The whole family was really nice and funny and make us feel like part of the family. If we had more time we would have stayed. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Also as a side note Luis makes an excellent Mojito.
