So sad to see what could be a refuge in nature, a place to find peace and a gateway from our day to day life, it's getting destroyed and it's seems to be nobody's business. The location it's amazing, the idea of the cottage it's something that attract people who wants to stay away from regular hotels but it seems like the management of the hotel forgot that people go there to relax and find peace. During the day Cubans that are not hotel guests can go to enjoy the pool. The music from 10 am till 6 pm it's all reguetton played really loud, that makes people that usually talk loud to be louder and the place it's like a public pool that smells and it's full of rank food and licor.
the rooms needs to be upgrade and repaired. They have problems with hot water. The room were clean and has a nice smell and again the construction it's so nice that I feel really sad to see a place that has so much potential to be in this conditions.

This hotel was awful. The room was so full of mould, that we chose to sleep outside on the balcony, as we arrived rather late and couldn't find another hotel. Then, we were harassed by the security guards and told us we must sleep outside by the pool! Then, they continued to harass my Cuban friend who had paid to stay and said he doesn't belong here, which of course is a complete lie. In addition, there was no water in the room...so no toilet, shower or even a spot to brush your teeth. I complained to the front desk in the morning and was told, "Oh well."

Room Tip: Ther are no good rooms!

But, this is really a 2 star hotel! Really too bad b/c it is the nicest in the area but we had no hot water at all (apparently not an uncommon problem) and the rooms are just "ok". Big contrast but part of the "experience", and the wholes Vinales area is so special, especially the tobacco farms, I'd definitely say "go anyway"! People are nice, and try hard but there's much disrepair and need of attention to the rooms. (Mold on walls in closet-just kept it closed and didn't put anything in it!! :)

Room Tip: Main building is probably the best.

This place is close to the "Cueva del Indio", is one of the most beautiful farmhouse in the region. Here was the place of our lunch. We were met at the Lounge Restaurant " El Ranchón" very organized tables, drinks. Everything was very clean and with live Cuban music. The delicious lunch, typical food, very rich, tropical fruits, salad, and dessert. From here we continue the journey.
This is one of the most visited farmhouse.

Estimado cliente: Nos gustaria mucho que hubiese sido esta opinión de nuestro Hotel, pero realmente se refiere a la Finca San Vicente la cual queda a 200 metros de nosotros. Gracias igual por tan buena opinión.

A bungalow concept in the middle of the jungle sounds good in theory but in practice it is quite a mess. Often times there was no running water, electricity is shaky, and roaches are crawling around. This would be unacceptable at any hotel, but especially for the price you pay. The bed linen feels drenched because of the humidity. The buffet is sloppy: bread is stale and meat looks as if it has expired. Luckily, we only stayed for one night. Advice: book elsewhere.
