Summerhill is a quiet getaway in the north of Grenada. It has well appointed guest rooms with sitting areas around the pool where one can relax and read a book while sipping one's favourite drink made by your host - Michael, while anticipating what your hostess - Yaz has created for dinner using local ingredients, many from their organic farm. The hosts are very knowledgeable on what there is to see and do in the area such as visiting the Chocolate Factory, Rum Distillery, Belmont Estate or Snorkeling Tours with a picnic lunch. If you prefer to stay close to Summerhill there is a beautiful empty sand beach just a short walk away. Thank you for making our first visit to Grenada special and memorable. We will be back.

Our first trip to Grenada. We were last minute to join our friends at Summerhill. What a find! Grenadians are friendly, helpful people. We toured the Grenadian Chocolate Factory, Belmont Estate, rum distillery as well as many local towns and beaches. We stayed at Summerhill and loved it. Our bed and bath was everything we needed and a gorgeous view as well! Summerhill is a clean, well appointed and well maintained gem in the northern part of the island. We enjoyed many areas of this tropical property. Our hosts Yas and Michael were most welcoming and very knowledgeable about Grenada - very helpful in planning our outings. (Driving on the left was a challenge - mountainous terrain made for winding, narrow roads with little signage.) Yas is an excellent cook. Our meals were outstanding and featured fresh local ingredients and spices. Thank you for a wonderful vacation in Grenada!
