Incredible hospitality and service from everyone (Front desk, restaurant staff, housekeeping). The rooms are fantastic, spotless and unique. We walked the entire stretch of beach and of all the hotels, Holbox Dream has easily one of the nicest beach fronts. If you're looking for quiet relaxation then Holbox and Holbox Dream is perfect. We loved our stay here and we will return!!!

Overpriced for what you get. They tell you the last room is the suite at $210, while the hotel is not full. Our view on the ocean was limited by rooftops. Rooms are basic, just the minimum inside, and it lacks of extra towels and extra bath rug. If you need to rent a golf cart, walk a block or 2 and rent one directly. The hotel gives you a surprise of charging 50 pesos extra for their service, of course they tell you when you return the cart.

The hotel is very nice, loved the style. We were greeted by a very welcoming front desk staff, always a smile on their faces and willing to help you with any questions you may have. We booked a suite with 2 beds on the top floor, it was gorgeous. The room was huge and well decorated. We had a private balcony with 2 sun chairs and a jacuzzi plus we had ocean view. The sunsets are breathtaking. We didn't want to leave our balcony, we had everything we could possibly need. The grounds are very nice, there's 2 pools, they might look small but once you get in, they're just the perfect size. There's a pool in front of the beach where you can look at the ocean from. The beach is amazing, there's a lot of wildlife and it's perfect for taking long walks. Our stay was so relaxing, couldn't have asked for more! Thank you Holbox Dream!

Its a charming beachhotel with all facilities in the hotel and on the beach (chairs, towels.....), 2 small but nice pools and very lovely rooms
the breakfast is good but expensive(in the light of what you get). its better to take a breakfast in a small restaurant nearby in the center
the staff is friendly

We stayed at Holbox Dream for 4 nights in late March for our first trip down to the island. Overall, I'd say we had an above average experience and were both pretty happy with our pick.

The hotel is clean and well taken care of, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is absolutely perfect. < 1 minute walk to the beach and 5-10 minute walk to the center of town.

Rooms are cleaned daily, including fresh sheets and towels. This was super helpful considering that tracking sand into your room is practically inevitable. The bathrooms are roomy, with a really nice open shower. We read some other reviews where people complained about shower splashback on the bathroom floor and this is certainly true, but it didn't bother us at all. It might be a bit more annoying if you're traveling with kids or a large group.

In general, Holbox is incredibly quiet and peaceful but it can get a bit loud on Fridays and Saturdays. The backside of the hotel faces a popular hostel that features live music on weekends, and the sound can bleed over until about 11-12 pm. This wasn't an issue for us since we're both young and usually go to be pretty late when on vacation, but it might be worth asking for a room facing the beach if you're staying on a weekend and noise is a concern.
