My family had dinner here in June 2017.

+ The cafe is conveniently located between Golden Thai Seafood Village and Long Beach Cafe.
+ It is within a 15-min, 1km walk from Hard Rock Hotelf.

+ The roadside entrance is the gigantic overhanging sign that says "BBQ Delight". Once you turn in, walk straight through the carpark towards the beach. There will be a 1-story building that says "BBQ Delight". Go into the entrance. BBQ Delight itself is a bar/lounge-like food establishment on the left. On the right, opposite the actual BBQ Delight ordering counter will be Beach Corner Seafood. Its sign is on its wall; there is no explicit restaurant nor does it seem to be any other obvious signage. It was tough to find!

Layout and Ambience
+ Non-airconditioned but sheltered and spacious
+ Few flies, despite this being a perennial problem at Penang's outdoor food establishments
+ Place is simple without fancy decor
+ It's located right next to the beach, so you can walk along the beach right up to the waterline while waiting for your food
+ Because it's located opposite the free-and-easy BBQ Delight bar/lounge (also non-airconditioned), you can pop over for a beer after your Chinese meal
+ Simple but clean toilet

+ Offers a reasonably wide variety of Chinese food, similar to a Zi Char stall in Singapore

+ Most veg and meat dishes range from RM 15 to RM 20. Seafod may hit RM 30. We ordered the following:

Fried Prawn Paste Chicken (RM 20)
Big Garlic Prawns (RM 7 each pc)
Clams (RM 20)
Stir Fried Kailan Vegetables (RM 15)
Steam White Rice (RM 4.50 per bowl)

- 3% service charge and 6% GST fax applied

- Prices are on par with other non-airconditioned Chinese food establishments

+ Food portion was reasonable by Asian standards.
+ Food quality was great. The clams and vegetables had Wok Hei (burnt wok taste).

Service was crisp and food was served within 15 min.

Overall, a simple-decor place with tasty and reasonably-priced Chinese dishes.

A romantic environment by the seaside with a beautiful sunset. Spring roll and their curry are delicious - must-try that you can't miss.

Always come here on our return visit to Penang as we use a hotel nearby. This visit we found some of the dishes a bit bland. Avoid the noodles, this was tasteless. However possibly the best sweet and sour chicken we've had locally. Spring rolls a must as is the curry kapitan. Seafood is reliable but expensive. Found it really difficult trying to alter dishes to our preference which wasn't an issue at other places we went in Batu Ferringhi. We always come early to avoid the crowds as if there are more than three tables filled be prepared for a long wait for food. Still a pleasant beach setting and a cooling sea breeze. Would have given it 3 and a 1/2 stars as it is not average but good and definitely not very good. Worth a visit and you can decide yourself. Four very simple dishes, plain rice and some drinks came to RM100.

I came here for dinner at the recommendation of a local. We sat with a sunset view of the beach. We ordered the hainanese spring rolls, fish curry and a shrimp dish. In fact it was too much food. The fish curry was delicious, but the spring rolls were simply outstanding. There was enough left over for us to take home.

Nice place by the beach.
The curry is recommended, whatever seafood it is. Other than the curry prawn and the hainanese roll which was good, our steam fish and soup was ordinary and pricey.
