The title is basically the whole review. The view from the patio at Abbocato at sunset is incredible. Supremely gorgeous and definitely instagram worthy for you ladies. The service by Paola was also excellent. She was warm and made you feel at home. The food, unfortunately, was average at best. We ordered the beef tasting menu (asian themed), tuna carpaccio, beef tenderloin, and a few other things I can't remember. All of it was nicely plated, but tasted very average. I'd say it's great for Costa Rica, but not on the level everyone on TA is raving about. The bad part was charging my credit card in US dollars when the menu was in colones and at less than prevailing "Abbocato" exchange rate. This was the only restaurant in my 6 days in Costa Rica, including roadside stands, that charged in US dollars instead of colones.
