We really enjoyed our visit at Visanto, we had indian plates and were pretty good. Really a unique spot to spend an evening. The only drawback was the slow service but that could have been just us. Very happy overall!

We thought we'd try a curry while we were staying in Perissa and had heard good things about Visanto. We ordered beers while we perused the menu and finally decided on chicken madras for me and a chicken chef's curry for the wife. We also ordered a couple of popadoms each but unfortunately there was no mango chutney available and the only type of pickle on offer was the dreaded lime. We did also have some raita which I'm not that keen on tbh. The popadoms were large, crispy and fresh tasting although the addition of the usual pickle tray would have helped. The curries were both served with boiled rice and lots of it. My madras was OK but not really that spicey and the chef's curry tasted remarkably similar. Pitta bread was on offer in place of the more usual nan bread but I guess nan isn't that easy to get hold of. A bit of a let down overall but better than no curry.

This was our final dinner out before returning home the next day so opted for a Thai curry as a change. However, what we received was a salty, overly spiced tomato sauce concoction with over cooked carrots and not a drop of subtly or delicacy associated with Thai food. Thai food is not salty or heavy. This was very disappointing meal to end our lovely holiday.

The staff here are always so welcoming and the food is really tasty! They have a live signer twice a week doing indy covers and the atmosphere was really good. A must visit for a good night out with a group.
