Just back from a wonderful 10 day stay at the Hotel Andreas. The hotel is lovely - fantastic location in the Old Town. We stayed in the Tower room which has the most beautiful view over the Old Town and out over the sea. It was our first trip to Rhodes and it was such a convenient base from which to explore the island. David, the Manager, was fantastic. Gave us loads of information on where to go and put up with our endless questions about the history of the island! Couldn't have done more for us! Many thanks David! Thanks too to Craig for all the information and tips on how to get places and also thanks to Gina the cleaner, who keeps everything spotless. A wonderful place to stay and one of the best holidays we have ever had!

Room Tip: Stairs to Tower room are steep but it has the most wonderful view.

I liked the Hotel Andreas. The owners are friendly, hold 6 o'clock drinks on the veranda every evening - which you are welcome to attend or not, as you wish...this is to allow the guests to get to know each other.
Yes, the rooms are small - but this in no way impedes enjoyment of the experience. My room was in the tower and offered a superb bed with incredible views out across the rooftops of the Old Town (unusual for a hotel in the Old Town to offer such views).
Huge bed with romantic mosquito net covering, and colourful fabrics combined to make the place feel really as if you're in a Turkish mansion.

Room Tip: Try to get the room in the tower - especially if you're Honeymooners. The owners speak excellent French, hence the hotel is popular with French tourists.

As a family of 2 couples travelling and having caught the ferry across to Rhodes on a whim, we were slightly unprepared at the busyness of the season and lack of accommodation available at very short notice - if you go in August, organise accommodation well in advance! However we were so lucky to find this gem of a pension, tucked away through cobbled streets and olive trees it is picture perfect in every way. The hosts went out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable in every way, and the sundowners were the best from their deck that literally gives you the perfect view of Rhodos and the Aegean beyond. It is a quiet sanctuary amongst the city that refreshes your soul - as well as being excellent value for money. Clean, comfortable, affordable and a rare gem. Their suggestions for dinner were also phenomenal. Cannot wait to return.

Room Tip: Each room has a charm of its own - if you do not like to walk across the hall to your bathroom, do tell them as I am sure they will do their best to accommodate you with one with an adjoining bathroom. But it really wasn't an issue if you did have to walk to the bathroom.

Amazing hosts, amazing views, amazing food, amazing location. I had a meeting for about a week in the old town and wanted something quiet, cultural, unique, and personal. My husband and 1-yr old daughter traveled with me and we were all so happy. I still dream of the morning yogurt with honey, the delicious feta, and the olives from a nearby monk. I loved the morning walks to my meeting through the narrow streets, and my husband had a great time exploring the areas on and off the beaten path. The hotel was close to everything, but in its own quiet residential area. A rare gem and absolutely lovely. I can't wait to return!

Great views, great hosts, great terrace environment with the flow of conversation, background music and lovely Greek wine. Highly recommend for the artistic soul revival retreat. We could see the city below us with the Aegean beyond. Cobblestone streets to the cafes and shopping close, It was clean, comfortable, affordable, and charming.
