Waking along the promenade we'd taken a look at a few of the lake front restaurants and decided we needed a quick drink. Seeing a sign pointing up a side street advertising Craft Ales we fell upon a lovely gravelled garden lit with fairy lights. In short the staff, food and beer are fantastic. We tried the Carpaccio burger and fish pasta which were both different and delicious. The IPA and Blond beers were so tasty, that we just had to stay a few hours!
In summary, don't expect views of the lake, but a very welcome departure from the lake side tourist restaurants! Highly recommended.
