This was our first visit to this restaurant after many visits to the area. Judging by the pristine interior it looks like a recent opening and as yet relatively undiscovered but hopefully that will change in time as it is really good.
We sat inside due to a daughter's failure to pack a cardigan but the outside seating looked appealing, particularly as they close the road after 8pm so it's traffic free. They could perhaps do with some candles and tablecloths to make it more attractive outside however.
We had some good value local wine sold by the jug/glass. Very drinkable despite the bargain price. We shared some excellent gnocchi, pasta and mixed grill/ beef main courses, all very good and clearly cooked by a chef with considerable skill. The service was exemplary and very friendly as was value for money.
All this restaurant lacks in our view is more customers to give it greater atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit and we will return next year.
