We have just returned from Turkey having stayed at Villa Blue Door for 5 days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The gardener/manager Davut was very attentive dealing with any issues promptly and with good cheer. He was on site 12 hours every day. The villa is very attractive being well laid out and with good quality furniture and appliances etc. we loved being able to walk out on to terrace from either of the 2 bedrooms and lounge/ kitchen. It was fabulous being able to sit out directly in front of the pool in full sun to eat breakfast. Our only criticism is the position the villa and the other 2 villas in the complex face, East. In June when we stayed the sun would be off the pool by mid afternoon and off the sunbathing terrace by 4.30 ish . The sunbathing terrace could do with being enlarged to allow for better positioning of the sunbeds ie sunbathing late afternoon, the sunbathing area is a bit cramped. The garden is very large and one can always drag a sun bed onto the grass, but it would be better on a terrace. The other criticism is that the garden is surrounded by 10 foot high fencing which sadly prevents any views of the beautiful surrounding area including the ghost town which the rear of the property faces. The fences are there to give the requisite ample privacy to the Muslim clientele. I have ticked the box to say our deposit has not been returned on time, at the time of writing some 9 days following our return our deposit is still to be returned, the owner seemed very nice and professional so I am sure there must be a reason for the delay and that it will be forthcoming soon.
