“Awesome, home from home and minutes from the sea, shops, restaurants.”
Reviewed 25 April 2012 for a stay in April 2012

A real peaceful little hideaway. The apartment had everything we needed from games for our children (aged 6 & 2) to a TV for them and one from the grown-ups. Clare has thought of everything from the DVD's, books and games to a box of those items that all of us has forgotten once, like a toothbrush, toothpaste or sewing kit. The children loved the private garden and the comfy beds. I loved the fact that with two small children I had everything I needed a microwave, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, a highchair, even a potty and a step for the children to reach to clean their teeth, wifi and stereo were also much appreciated.

The photo's of the apartment were spot on and there was no disappointments on arrival. Clare even did a shop for us so we had food, drinks, nappies etc all ready for arrival and she went out of her way and let us in early having arrived in England from the French Pyrenees earlier than expected. She has made herself available to us for questions, advice and there is lots of literature in the house for things to do in and around Broadstairs.

Broadstairs is lovely, even in the rain! We have visited Whitstable, Margate, Ramsgate and Deal but Broadstairs is definitely the best resort in the area.

I would highly recommend The Hideaway, parking is a bit tight outside the apartment but I managed to get parked everyday and there is a public car park at the end of the road. You don't need the car if you are venturing into Broadstairs as everything is within walking distance.

There is lovely artwork throughout the apartment from local artists available to buy and the furnishings are all comfy, central heating for chillier days was perfect, it just feels like home.

I would definitely come back and I know the children would love to come again in the summer months and spend more time on the beautiful beaches and coves in the area.

A great find, thanks to Clare for her amazing hospitality and hope to see you again in the future.

“Couldn't have wished for a better place to stay”
Reviewed 27 March 2012 for a stay in March 2012

The apartment has everything one could wish for: fully equipped kitchen, living room with DVD/board game collection and lovely bedrooms. Thanks to peaceful location and closeness to the beach it's a perfect choice for holidays by the seaside.

Clare and Graham were very helpful and provided us with everything we needed.

Broadstairs is a nice little town with beautiful beaches and impressive selection of restaurants (we second Albarino restaurant recommendation - delicious tapas).

Great place, would highly recommend and would stay again.
