Really enjoyed my stay here, it's unusual and the view across the River Medway is lovely. The place is cosy and comfy and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating. However, smoking takes place in the lounge - ie the main communal bit of the boat - in the evenings and this is not good. The little room I had does not have a telly so I was stuffed. Breakfast in the morning was hearty and filling and they gave you what you wanted.

My double en suite room was warm, cosy and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent but best of all was the freindly welcome and great service offered by Sue and Bob. A really unique place to stay I can highly recommend it!

Room Tip: Not all rooms ar en suite so you need to check if thats what you want

Bob and Sue are excellent, so friendly and ready to help. Good parking. The Lilac room is a good size, decent size en-suite and a very comfy bed. The outside space makes this B&B unique and quirky, it was lovely to stand on the deck surveying the river before bed.
The breakfast was very good, lovely freshly good food. Such a change from ordinary B&B`s, Bob and Sue are excellent hosts. Will definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Lilac room lovely.

As part of the TMAS, (Tenghesvisie Mechanical Artillery Society) we travel quite a lot and stay at many B & Bs, we tend to favour the unique and this certainly is. From the start, it is secure parking is easy, there is a short walk to the jetty and there she is, a converted Rhineand ferry, fantastic, we had called, so Bob met us at the door and we were immediatly set about with cups of tea, superb, a short chat later we were seen to our rooms which are comfy and well appointed, The green room is a single but not en-suite, no bugbear, really comfy bed. Most of the time we were there the tide was out so the ship was bottomed. in the morning Bob told us that the tide had been and gone around 4ish in the morning, I was so sound asleep that I didn't even notice, Breakfast was great lovely sausages, and plenty of tea. We will be returning sometime next year.
P.S. ship has a full service history it is fascinating.

I was away on business in Chatam and this B&B was perfect, Bob and Sue are so lovely and welcoming that when ever i walked in the door they'd always offer me a cup of tea and i'd watch tv with them every evening. And you must go because th breakfasts that bob makes are legendary, with spiced mushrooms and sausages, bacon, beans, eggs toast, jam everything you could possibly want on a morning and also a lovely chat and good morning tops it all off... You couldn't ask for more, highly recomended!

I went as a single traveller and was immediately made to feel part of the family. Booking was easy and Sue was very accomodating. Both Sue and Bob obviously put so much effort into making everyone feel comfortable to enjoy their stay. This is a real labour of love!
The room was superb, very clean and had everything you need. It was lovely to stay in unique surroundings and to wake up and look over the water.
You can have a lovely walk along the river to Rochester for a look around. Bob and Sue could not do enough for their guests and it was lovely to meet fellow travellers also staying there.
I would definately visit again and am hopefully planning to bring others.
I reccomend this B and B for anyone!
