A masterclass in how a pub should be run. We immediately felt like the landlady's guests and friends. The children were made to feel very welcome with a great kids menu, choice of colouring and chat. The meals were delicious and perfect portions. We would definitely go back here!

Our chosen eatery was busy ! We were hungry so we adopted our usual policy of randomly choosing somewhere else ! Ceffyl Gwyn was on our to-do list so off we went. Nice to see a pub having kept its character - it was busy but welcoming. Great menu - with good portions. Desserts were spot on. Best in ages, felt as if they were custom made and the blackberries in my Eton Mess actually tasted fresh and wild. Perfect. Good atmosphere - bilingual customers always add charm for us.

Very friendly, welcoming, young Staff. We sat ouside for drinks and a snack, not the full menu. Spent some time talking to friendly, local residents on a neighbouring table. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will return.

A lovely place with great staff, fantastic food and very red wine!!!. We were in a great mood when we arrived as we only get to catch up, a couple of times a year. We sat in the cosy bar area before being taken to the table. The food came out quickly, it was hot and delicious. We all enjoyed our different dishes, and the portion sizes were great. The atmosphere was really nice, helpful and friendly. I would recommend a visit here if you enjoy good food. I would definitely want to go back.........if they would have me. Soooo sorry about spilling my wine!!!!! Promise I won't do it next time. We all left in a fantastic mood and that defines a great place.
